What I Dread Hearing

Cancer is the one word I dread hearing. There’s nothing good that comes out of it ever. So many loved ones have been taken from my life due to the unstoppable disease and I just can’t bare to see someone who holds a special place in my heart pass by me like others have. Cancer isn’t effecting just me, it’s a world wide disease which holds no cure. So many family’s and friendships are brought together then slowly fall apart. My question is, how come we throw all out money to useless things instead of trying to find a cure to cancer? Why aren’t people’s main focus to cure cancer? I would do anything in my ability to cure cancer. No one should have to seek cancer as a treat to putting a sudden end to their life.

Reminiscing tonight really made me think of how the human body can undergo such a harsh disease which, in my case, have taken so many loved ones away from my family. Cancer has beat me 3-0 but I am determined to beat the shit out of cancer if it comes back to haunt my family or friends again.
